PTE Exam Format – PTE examination layout has been formulated to evaluate the speaking, writing, listening and reading abilities of applicants within the English language. The PTE examination is composed of 3 major portions – Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening, which the applicants need to complete in three hours with an optional 10 mins break between the reading and listening portions. Other questions are asked within the PTE examination starting from multiple-choice, essay writing to interpreting information.

This phase checks a candidate’s spoken English in addition to the English writing talents in an academic environment. The applicants need to use proper grammar and spellings while writing their responses to the given questions. This is a part of the PTE Academic. Test is divided into a number of small segments as discussed.
The candidates are given 77 to 93 mins of time to finish the Speaking & Writing phase.

Writing Question Varieties:
This phase assesses the reading abilities of the applicants with a collection of various questions such as multiple-choice, re-order paragraphs and fill within the blanks. The applicants are advised to read the questions carefully and answer accordingly.
The reading section of the Pearson Test of English is 32 to 41 mins lengthy and evaluates the candidate’s understanding of written knowledge within the English language.

Studying Query Sorts:
Listening is the final phase of the PTE test. Divided into various small parts, this section checks the candidate’s skill to understand spoken English. The questions included in this phase are in line with audio or video clips played just once for the applicants taking the test. So, they want to concentrate to the clips very carefully and make notes as smartly.
The audio or video clips are normally of 60-90 seconds and the applicants get 10 mins to write down their reaction in 50-70 phrases.
