WHAT IS CELPIP
CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) is an English language test to check the proficiency of English Language accepted by a number of governments, Universities, Professional Organization, Institution. This test is managed by Paragon Testing Enterprises a subordinate of the University of British Columbia (UBC). The only Canadian company delivering Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) designated English proficiency tests is Paragon.
CELPIP is considered to be more useful since it is relatively inexpensive as compared to IELTS. Taking a CELPIP test is more hassle-free since it is completed in one go. There are different components of this test and the duration of the test is 3 hours. Different sections in this test are listening, reading, writing and speaking. The listening section tends to have a longer duration as compared to the other two.

CELPIP Test has two versions
- The CELPIP-General Test:- This test is suitable for those people who want to get permanent residency in Canada. It comprises four modules i.e. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
- The CELPIP General LS Test:- This Test is suitable for those people who want to get citizenship of Canada. It consists of two modules i.e. Listening and Speaking.
